Possibly the most-used app on Windows has become a wallet with an upgrade. It's gone from a cash-sorting and cash-receiving app into a wallet with support for all kinds of digital coins, tokens, and payments.
Microsoft has upgraded the Windows 10.11.0.1402.26019, or the May 2019 update, to v10.0.16299.0.
The current version of Windows Defender Firewall, ( v.11.0.0.11) for Windows 10, has also been upgraded to the new version, and could now detect Google DTVP traffic when using the Edge browser. Windows Defender Firewall was previously only able to detect traffic when using Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox browsers. The update could be downloading from Windows Update, or it could have been installed from a Windows 10 device.
The update to Windows Defender Firewall can now detect and stop traffic from accessing Google DTVP sites. There is no ETA on when this feature will be available to non-Edge users.
The Windows 10.11.0.1402.26019 update is available in the build number 14323.13. In previous versions of Windows 10, DTVP would redirect traffic to a Google domain server. The update has brought an end to the third-party service, which scans and uploads content to the BitTorrent protocol.
Microsoft is no longer communicating with the users of the service, and has not informed about the recent changes. For those who had Microsoft Points and other Microsoft cash-based purchases, there is no way to access these points or cash in them, and they can no longer be redeemed for Microsoft Rewards points. For those who spent their cash on DTVP purchases, there are no refunds, and they will have to spend their cash again.
A Microsoft spokesperson has clarified that the service was discontinued by DTVP and not Microsoft. at her bath. Did not think that was a good idea - not because of a little girl, but because my wife was worried about the sheets getting dirty. But she had not learned her lesson - about not reading at the bath. Yeah, that stuffs for everyone else to do. lol
There was a time when people believed in the bible - if you could beat the Lord Jesus Christ
